Reminder that there were NO CLASSES scheduled for Sunday, February 14 and Monday, February 15, due to President's Weekend School Holiday. EXCEPT FOR SECOND GRADE...WE ARE ASKING SECOND GRADE STUDENTS TO COME AT THEIR REGULAR CLASS TIME ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14 AND MONDAY STUDENTS WILL BE CALLED AND ASKED TO COME ANOTHER TIME AS DETERMINED BY MS. THERESA STONE...IN ORDER TO BE PREPARED FOR FIRST RECONCILIATION ON FEBRUARY 20TH...THANK YOU!

MASS SCHEDULE
Celebrated at New Church: 2930 Hanover Pike
Saturdays at 4:00 p.m.
Sundays at 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12 noon
Holy Days of Obligation: 6:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Confessions are heard every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Celebrated in the Historic Church: 3071 Park Avenue
Daily Mass is celebrated Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m. If Carroll County Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather...there is NO Morning Mass!
Eucharistic Adoration is Every Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

CLASSES FOR STUDENTS REGISTERED IN GRADES NURSERY THROUGH SIXTH CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY WITH NO CLASSES ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH AND MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH
Classes are scheduled on Sunday mornings from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. (A session); Sunday mornings from 10:25 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. (B session) and Monday afternoons from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. (D session) for students in Grades Nursery through Sixth.

Home Study Year begins on Sunday, September 20 at 12 noon in the Parish Center.
This year's meetings for students and parent are scheduled for:

Sunday, December 13 Christmas Celebration
Sunday, March 7:
Sunday, April 25: End of Year Celebration; all materials turned in; Pizza Party
Please call the R.E. office, 410-239-8881, if you are unable to attend the session, to arrange a time to drop off your child's book to monitor progress throughout the year.
[edit] Grades 7 to 9
WINTER SEMESTER: Classes begin on Sunday, February 21, 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and will be held weekly through March 28. March 28: 6:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. (lesson taught)
7:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. (FINAL exam in class)
Final exam will be administered at 7:30 p.m. on the last night of class. Students will be dismissed, if finished, at regular time, 8:00 p.m. However, if the student needs additional time to complete the final, they may stay until 8:30 p.m. PARENTS, PLEASE BE HERE FOR PICK-UP AT 8 P.M. AND WAIT PATIENTLY FOR YOUR CHILD AS HE/SHE MAY BE FINISHING THEIR FINAL EXAM.
Progress reports will be mailed home to parents following our last week of class.

"WE GATHER TOGETHER" Session 5: March 7, 2010 1:00 p.m.- 3 p.m. (NOTE ONLY TWO HOUR SESSION) Lunch provided

[edit] Sacraments
Children must be registered in a R.E. program or Catholic School one year prior to the year of preparation and reception of Sacraments.
Parents are asked to attend two meetings to assist in the preparation of your children for both the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Sacrament of Eucharist.
First Reconciliation Parent Meetings are scheduled on Sunday, January 3rd at 1:00 p.m. and on Monday, February 1st at 7:00 p.m., both in the Parish Center.
First Reconciliation Celebration: Saturday, February 20th at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in our New Church
First Eucharist Parent Meetings are scheduled on Monday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m., both in the Parish Center.
First Eucharist Celebration: Saturday, May 1st at 10 a.m. and 12 noon in our New Church
Confirmation Classes for the Class of 2009 will begin on Sunday, February 21 at 1:30 p.m. in the Parish center, by pre-registration.
Confirmation Retreat: Sunday, March 28 beginning with the 12 noon Mass AND continuing in the Parish Center til 5 p.m.
Confirmation Mass to be scheduled in fall of 2010 according to the Bishop's schedule
